Hair untethered #3

People with short hair, who use gel and whom I have teased relentlessly throughout the years, I have proof that karma is real and I owe you an apology😬

For years I would make fun of those specific hairs on your head that would not be tamed and gave you the alien look (because they stuck out like an antenna), the devil look (because they stood out as horns on either side of your head), the splat look (because your hair on one side of your head looked as if you crashed into something and would be flat), the explosion look (because, well, self-explanatory) and the cow lick look (where a part of your hair, usually on the top, looks as if a cow licked you and stays up like a sticky wave).

And I would persist with my bullying when you would all spend hours and use various curse words, trying to tame those looks with endless amounts of gel and spray. And I would cackle like a witch with my long straight boring hair, which gave me nothing but the curtain emo look.

And here I am today, with my hair growing at all angles and with all the above-mentioned looks, trying with gel to tame it, to style it, to make it look… tidier? I don’t know.

So here it is: I am very sorry🫣

I am now in the same situation and every day is a hair adventure🦰

The thing is when you get diagnosed with cancer, you also don’t give a flying fluff about a lot of things anymore, so if you see me in the streets, be sure to let me know what my hair looks like to you because I’m going for “woke up like this, knew it wouldn’t make a difference, snoozed a bit more, because why not, and then set off”☺️

But I learned my lesson: tease your friends about the things they have that you want. And karma shall provide!😄

Now, who of you has a million in your bank accounts? 🤭
