Immunotherapy uncovered #2

Dear diary,

Something is happening to me. I’m not sure how to put it in words or describe it, but… I’m changing ✨

I feel stronger. I can walk up not one, but two (!) flights of stairs without losing my breath! I can walk and bike to appointments and do the grocery shopping. I can do all this without feeling defeated after 5 minutes and in need of a nap. I feel so powerful!🧨

Also, I seem to have healing abilities. Small cuts don’t bleed for ages and bruises don’t stick around like blotched tattoos😅

And my taste buds seemed to be on a high. Everything I taste is as if I am trying it for the first time! Discovering new flavours with every food I cook. I want to try all the recipes and order all the food🤤

This might be it! My superpowers must be manifesting! I shall keep track of everything with detailed notes! In between meals… and snacks… and walks. And then snacks again. And I’ll start looking for a superhero suit🦹🏿‍♀

On a more realistic note, it feels good not to feel and look like an old witch who didn’t eat a star recently to restore her youth(read and/or watch Stardust, you won’t regret it!). And I’m not taking it for granted!☺️

For everything I do, I say a little thank you that I can do it. Even things that I loathe. Like ironing. I finally tackled a mountain pile that was threatening to overflow and take over the neighbourhood (note to self: experiment no. 2091 of waiting for the clothes to iron themselves has failed😒). And I remembered how much I dislike ironing, but nevertheless said thank you that I could do it again.

And maybe that’s how I’ll do everything from now on. Just saying a little thank you for everything I do and get done. Thank you for the food I taste. Thank you for the energy I have.

Thank for the task I did. Thank you for the awkward shaped piece of clothing that I ironed.

Thank you that I didn’t curse while ironing it. Thank you that I still said thank you for that particular torture… I mean achievement!
Thank you❤️
