12th of August 2022

This past week was set to level “super hard” and I played the level repeatedly and finally passed it! So now I’m armed with a smile and making way for the next side effect for next week’s chemo…😄 I’m not expecting the rash burn to return since I’m on antibiotics until September for that (yes, on top of chemo, why not?), so I’m preparing myself mentally for something else. I’ve avoided Dr. Google because I want it to be a surprise, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted🤪

Update regarding my superpowers:

As I’m not allowed to go out in the sun and this week we have a heatwave of 32 C, I’ve been stuck in the house… Therefore I’ve been walking behind closed curtains and when I see a ray of sunlight I hiss, so… maybe a vampire? 🧛‍♂️ It better not be the sparkling kind!😒

But I haven’t experimented further. I was too busy soaking up cuddles with my children and Martien since I couldn’t touch or be touched because of the rash. Never underestimate the need and power of cuddling and hugging❤️
