Starting 2023 with a post showered with positivity and glitter, because it’s healthy to be superstitious, no?🙃

Number 1! My fluffy hair! Not sure what I’m eating or what I am doing but the hair on my head is trying to break a record 😎

Number 2! My actual immune system! I managed to get sick again over the holidays (of course) and was ready for another black-out, but I spiked a fever, it threw some punches and it was over in a day😁

Number 3! Foooood!!!
I cooked, I ate, I tasted, I ate again, I snacked, and I probably have gained all the weight I lost but I couldn’t give a flying fluff from my fluffy hair. The vaseline, oily pasta water, starchy mouth is gone. Welcome back taste buds 🤗

This post is about the positive, so I won’t start complaining about what side effects are still lingering (even though I really want to!) 😅

My body in general is building itself up again, with visible cracks which I’m wearing proudly and cherishing as a reminder that nothing should ever be taken for granted, but also that when you are faced with what seems terrifyingly final, it’s not until you say so. Believe that! 💪

My emotions are still all over the place, juggling excitement, fear, gratitude, resentment, happiness, sadness and general mood swings. So I have learned to ask myself “are you feeling this way because you are hungry or because you are sleepy or both?”🫠

And I’ve decided to go with the following statement: I am magic✨️

Not in the “I’m off to Hogwarts” or the “check me out, I’m a shiny Unicorn” term. But in terms of how I’ve survived and how I plan to keep on surviving. Always with and within kindness. Making anything into something. With love and magic. And I will own that with a smile. Because I am magic!

My dearest friends from afar sent me a Christmas box and among all the goodness was a glitter mask for bath time. Needless to say, I shall be purchasing more bath items with glitter and sparkles from now on and I recommend you do too!😉

First pic I am looking at the sparkle on my nose and the second I just can’t take myself seriously anymore, because I never did🤷‍♀️
